Day 1 - May 26 - Cultural Orientation

Everyone and their luggage has arrived safely in Chennai. Today we met with Poul, the NGO coordinator we have been working with; Sowmya, the cultural advisor that has been assigned to us from Loyola University; and other CASA staff for a lovely lunch and cultural orientation. After this we headed to the CASA headquarters in Chennai and met all the staff and worked out some budget items with Mr.Poul. The adventure has begun and with every passing minute comes another story.

Finally met Mr. Poul Luther today: he's our contact at the NGO (CASA India). After nearly a year of coordinating Skype calls across time zones, it's great to finally speak with him face to face.
