Lunch with Kimley Horn and 60% Project Submittal!

This week we met with some of our Technical Advisors at Kimley Horn. They treated us to a nice lunch and held an open platform for discussion about our project and to voice any questions/concerns we have. We also had a chance to discuss project management and how to make a project a success. It was great to meet with them, some of the concerns we've had nagging at us were confirmed as things we should actually worry about. They also gave us a welcomed reminder to remember to think outside of the structure, such as what things we need to make the building a success ... starting with building permits and closing with getting a hook up to the electrical grid. We've still got a lot to research and learn before we leave for implementation in two months!

Our Elevation, Section and Plan view drawings are in for the 60% submittal and we have exchanged drawings with Mr. Dixon, our contractor. We will be having a call with him and Poul pretty soon to finalize a few points in the drawings. Stay posted for Milestone III updates, we present on Monday!!
